Mr. Isaacson joined WDIP in 2016 and is the President of WDIP. In addition to leading the firm and setting its overall strategy, Mr. Isaacson oversees WDIP’s investment platforms, through which he has deployed approximately $600 million. Mr. Isaacson received a Master of Business Administration (graduating with honors) from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a Juris Doctorate from Mitchell Hamline School of Law (f/k/a the William Mitchell College of Law), and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Minnesota.
Mr. Duley joined WDIP in 2021 as a Managing Director on the investments team, where he leads investment transaction execution for WDIP’s equity and debt investment vehicles. Marcus holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from Loyola University Maryland and a Masters of Business Administration from Temple University.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Shepard joined WDIP in 2014 and is responsible for the overall financial management of the company in addition to elements of operations, human resources, and information technology. Mr. Shepard holds a master’s degree in real estate development from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Juris Doctorate from Cornell Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from New York University.
Mr. Tilzer joined WDIP in 2016 and is a Managing Director, responsible for asset management of the firm’s investments. He manages the lifecycles of all fund and bridge loan investments from deal close to realization, working with sponsors to ensure that investments are progressing according to plan. Additionally, he is responsible for WDIP’s performance-based reporting efforts on both the investment and fund levels. Mr. Tilzer holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Bradley University at Peoria, Illinois.
Managing Director of Operations
Mr. Castle joined WDIP in August of 2015 as Vice President of Corporate Strategy and is currently the Managing Director of Operations. His responsibilities include implementing strategic and operational initiatives, forming new investment vehicles, and overseeing WDIP’s business development, investor relations, marketing, and public relations programs. Mr. Castle is a graduate of Washington and Lee University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Administration.
Chief Legal and Compliance Officer
Mr. Erwin joined WDIP in 2018. As the firm’s Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, he is responsible for compliance and legal oversight of the company. Mr. Erwin holds a in B.S. in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison; a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the Florida State University College of Law. He also holds a an A.S. Degree in music business and audio production from Full Sail University and a FINRA Series 65 license. Mr. Erwin is a member of the Colorado Bar.
Mr. Cornell joined WDIP in 2019 as a Senior Director. His responsibilities include sourcing, structuring, and underwriting investment opportunities across the fund investment platform. Mr. Cornell holds a Bachelor of Science in economics with a concentration in finance and accounting from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Ms. Goodwin joined WDIP in March 2021 and is the co-head of debt investments, responsible for the origination of senior bridge and permanent loans on behalf of WDIP’s separately managed accounts. Ms. Goodwin has originated, underwritten and restructured over $4.0 billion of debt transactions in her career. Ms. Goodwin received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois.
Mr. Welch joined WDIP in January 2019 and is responsible for managing WDIP’s debt platform, including the origination of senior bridge, permanent and construction loans. Mr. Welch received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Texas.
Managing Director and Head of Capital Raising
Brad Barsily has joined WDIP as Managing Director and Head of Capital Raising where he leads capital raising efforts for WDIP’s fund series, as well as for targeted separate accounts and co-investment opportunities. Mr. Barsily received a Bachelor of Arts from Union College (NY) and a Masters of Business Administration from Columbia Graduate School of Business.
